4K: PALS (Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening); administered to 4K students during the 1st 45 days of school and again during the last 45 days.

5K: KRA (Kindergarten Readiness Assessment); administered to 5K students during the 1st 45 days of school.

Grade 2: CogAt and Iowa--assessments for determining eligibility for Gifted and Talented identification. The testing window for Fall 2021 is October 11-November 5. 

3-6: SCReady: English Language Arts and Math assessment; Spring 2022 administration will be conducted as online testing during the last twenty days of school. Testing schedule: May 3rd-May 19; makeup testing May 6, 13, 20, 23-27 as needed.

4 & 6: SCPASS: Science: Spring 2022 administration will be conducted as online testing during the last twenty days of school in grades 4 and 6. Testing Schedule: May 19; makeup testing on posted days as needed. 

WIDA ACCESS: administered in grades 5K-12 to identified English Learner students to assess English Language Acquisition. The state testing window is January 24-March 11, 2022. 

SC-Alt: Core Content (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) assessments administered to identified severely cognitively disabled students. The state testing window is March 7-April 22, 2022.

Middle School

7-8: SCReady: English Language Arts and Math assessment; Spring 2022 administration will be conducted as online testing during the last twenty days of school. Testing Schedule: May 10-12, and May 17-19.

WIDA ACCESS: administered in grades 5K-12 to identified English Learner students to assess English Language Acquisition. The state testing window is January 24-March 11, 2022. 

End of Course Examination: 8th grade Honors Math class students take Algebra 1 online on May 24.

SC-Alt: Core Content (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) assessments administered to identified severely cognitively disabled students. The state testing window is March 7-April 22, 2022.

Non-Required Assessments:

College-entrance assessments for 11th graders: Students may opt to take either The ACT or The SAT.  Spring test dates will be posted by 2-14-22. This is the only test offering from the State of South Carolina that students may opt out of taking.
